On March 16, 2020 the San Francisco Department of Public Health issued a Shelter in Place order to slow the spread of COVID-19. From then until June 30, 2020 all child care programs (except for a small number specifically designated to provide emergency child care to essential workers) were closed. OECE is also working on moving to a new, more comprehensive data system that will allow for more robust data reporting. Due to these two factors, monthly data dashboards from March 2020 forward will not be posted.
