Elisa joined the San Francisco Office of Early Care and Education (OECE) in 2016. She is the Early Care and Education Program and Policy Analyst and works with childcare providers and families to ensure the continuity of care for preschool-aged children. Elisa brings with her over ten years of experience in the non-profit sector having worked under several capacities including direct services, program evaluation, and public contracts management, with an emphasis on organizational systems development and staff capacity building. She has a passion for engaging diverse populations rooted in her early work in education and affordable housing serving high-need children, youth, and families in the Excelsior and Mission neighborhoods of San Francisco, her hometown. Elisa holds a Master in Public Policy with a concentration in non-profit management and community development from Rutgers University. Her favorite activities include photography and salsa dancing.
