The California ECE Workforce Registry is a state, regional and local collaboration designed to track and promote the education, training and experience of the early care and education workforce for the purpose of improving professionalism and workforce quality to positively impact children.

The Office of Early Care and Education utilizes the Registry to collect the demographic, wage, employment, education, and training of SF workforce participants to inform investments in key strategy areas:

  • C-WAGES: a compensation program that raises the wages of the early care and education workforce through grants to targeted licensed centers and family child care programs.
  • EDvance programs; SF SEED, Foundations, Metro Academy, PATH: A complimentary series of workforce development programs that provide stipends for completion of eligible higher education courses and English/Math skill development.
  • Training and Technical Assistance will be posted on the Training Calendar and training data tracked to support the workforce and the children they serve [Training Component First 5 San Francisco)
